Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes is a world leader in the production of seamless hot rolled steel tubes for all applications. The company's twelve tube mills use state-of-the-art-production processes. Nine of these mills are located in Europe (five mills at four locations in Germany and four mills in France), two mills at one location in Brazil, one mill in the USA and moreover a works for further processing of steel tubes in China. Their combined capacity of up to 3 million tonnes puts out the world's largest size range of seamless steel tubes. The company was founded in October 1997 as a joint venture between the French Vallourec Group (55% of shares) and the German Mannesmannr?hren-Werke GmbH (45% of shares) joining together all their production units and marketing interests for seamless hot rolled tubes and threaded oilfield tubulars (OCTG). In May 2000, the company took over the Brazilian company Mannesmann S.A. in Belo Horizonte, which has been renamed V & M do BRASIL S.A. In July 2002, V & M TUBES took over the tubular division of North Star Steel and renamed it to V & M STAR. The company has production sites in Youngstown (Ohio) and a OCTG shop in Houston (Texas). With effect from 1 July 2005, Groupe Vallourec took over the 45 percent stake in V & M TUBES previously held by Mannesmannr?hren-Werke GmbH and thereby increased its 55 percent holding to 100 percent. V & M TUBES has steel production capacities of its own in Saint-Saulve (France), Duisburg-Huckingen (20% shares in HKM, Germany), Belo Horizonte (Brazil) and in Youngstown (Ohio). With this independence, the company is not only in a position to offer short delivery times but also to produce hundreds of different steel grades matched to the individual demands of the tube and pipe customers.

HANDLE company, created in 1992, is specialized in producing stainless steel tube and cannulas. Our factories and head office are situated in the south of France in MAZAMET. Thanks to our development, we created several lines of products and we are now in a position to fulfil the needs of our customers in different fields. HANDLE received its certification ISO 9002 in January 1999 from BVQI. Our quality department insures that the hypodermic tube is produced under ISO 9626 standard. The tube for industrial use is made either under customer specifications or under our standards. The cannulas are manufactured following customer requirements, and are validated by our performance control system.

Silfax designs, manufactures and sells tube and pipe forming and bending machines worldwide. Its full range of products includes standard machines to customized systems. With over 15 years' experience in the manufacturing and installation of equipment, Silfax applications are well known in the automotive, aerospace, appliance and general industry. We do have a team approach and bring in our project specialists from Silfax, SEEB and ULMO together to review ideas and find the best solution for our customers. We are using sophisticated development tools (CAD, simulation tools, etc.) to design the required products. Silfax offers its customers respected knowledge and experience in industrial production of tubular components for exhaust, brake, air conditioning and fuel injection applications.
